A former underground Cu-Au-Ag mine located on 12 claims (1956), in the SE¼ sec. 30, T11N, R10E, on the East bank of Shannon Gulch, 1 mile S of Control Road, 1 mile NNE of Cedar Mesh summit, about 2½ miles SW of Geromnimo Estates. Discovered by Paul Vogle and William Craig. Produced 1885-1956. Operators included Mr. Walter L. Lovelady; Tom Russell; Snell Mining Co. (1935); and, Mr. Mack Phillips (1940).
Mineralization is a vein deposit with an ore zone 1371.6 meters long, striking S3W and dipping 70N. An associated rock unit is diorite.
Workings include one 100 foot deep shaft; one 208 foot (67.06 meters) deep shaft; one drift run 90 feet east and 30 feet west, with stoping to the surface; 2 adits (#1 is 60 feet long, #2 is 200 feet long.
