A former Zn-Pb-Cu-Au-Ag occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SE¼ sec. 2, T23N, R18W, G&SRM, 1½ miles E of Chloride, on private land within a Bureau of Land Management administered area. Owned by Clarence and Artie Carlisle (1976). Operated 1901 through 1948. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 10 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 80NW. The mineralization is associated with a Late Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic granite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.

Regional geologic structures include Precambrian schistosity that strikes N30E. Veins. Fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally.
