Puma agate is a sedimentary pseudo morph agate after coral.
This agate is bright green color fluorescent under UV light short wave.
The deposit extent for about 100 miles from Malargue city to the south of Mendoza Province, Argentina.
The usual colors of this agate are pastel blue, red and yellow.
The age of this agate is the same as Condor agate : Tertiary, 30 millions years old.
This agate was founded, named and introduced to the market in 1995 by Luis de los Santos

San Rafael Department, Mendoza Province, ArgentinaDimensions: 3.5 inches x 3 inches x 2 inches
Condor agate:
Condor agate is perhaps one of the most colorful agates in the market, the variety of colors and patterns are endless.
Some specimen shows inclusions like sagenite, plumes or moss.
Condor agate is found in several deposits of decompose rhyolite in the Hills of Valle Grande town, near San Rafael City, Mendoza Province, Argentina.
The only deposits that yield Condor agate nodules are the following :
Agua Mineral deposit
El Resbalon deposit
La Difunta deposit
La Ventana deposit
La Pata del Gigante deposit
La sismologica deposit
La Linea de Alta Tension deposit
Los Leones deposit
Sierra Pintada deposit
Los Noquis deposit
La Frazada deposit
Bajo de la Cabras deposit
Usually the material is found in nodules, but one deposit yield only vein type.
A low percentage of the material is fluorescent in green color under UV light short wave.
Condor agate is mostly free of fractures due to its very young age, Tertiary, 30 million years old.
Condor agate was founded, named an introduced to the market in 1993 by Luis de los Santos

Ghost agate
Ghost agate specimen under UV light short wave.
Ghost agate deposit is located 20 Kilometers north of Petrified Forest National Park in Santa Cruz Province, Argentina.
This agate is found loose on the ground or semi buried under decompose Andesite.
The nodules are round or almond shape with very distinctive fortification pattern in white color suspended in clear chalcedony.
Some special features inside this agate are moss, plume, tubes, and curtains pattern.
The agate age is Jurassic, (160 million years old)
Small percentage of nodules are fluorescent green color under UV light short wave.
The deposit was founded and named in 1994 by Luis de los Santos

Patagonian agate
Patagonian agate is found in different deposit about 20 to 30 kilometers east of Esquel City, in Chubut Province, Argentina.
This agate is form in nodules with soft skin, and is buried in the decompose host rock, which was Andesite.
The age of this agate is the same as Condor agate, Puma agate, Crater agate : Tertiary. (30 MYO.)
The cut nodules usually show a wide range of colors combinations always in pastel tones, with fortification banding, shadow effect and sometimes great chromatography and Uruguayan lines.
