A nice group of well defined Microcline crystals. One of the many smaller plates from the pocket i found. Largest crystal on the matrix is 2.5x2x2 inches, whole specimen is 3.5x4x3 inches. Found 9/2/13 Gifted to and in the collection of Peter Samuelson

Devils Head Pegmatite Mining District, Douglas County, Colorado, USAAnother double terminated smoky crystal from my pocket on devils head. No damage to the crystal at all. This crystal was stuck on a large vug in the clay on it. Was cleaning the vug and this surprise showed itself. Gifted to and in the collection of Peter Samuelson 9/2/13 3 inches by 1.5 inches

The talus is visible in the left lower of the frame. Need to ascend this one for the solitary view. 8/10/13
