I collected this small (~3mm) spray of colorless milarite crystals in 2002 from one of the many boulders at the then deserted construction site. These colorless hexagonal prisms always intrigued me because they fluoresce a sky blue color under mid-wave UV light. Jim Nizamoff recently confirmed my suspicion that these were milarite crystals by performing an SEM-EDS analysis. To my knowledge these are the only identified milarite crystals from Connecticut.
