Upper-Triassic vein-like Pb-Cu mineralization, worked for some time in the mid 18th and early 19th centuries. Host rocks are tectonically overprinted andesites with alteration of various intensities (replacement of hornblende by sulphides and Mg-Fe sheet silicates, crystallization of adularia).
Rare secondary Pb- and Cu-minerals were found in voids of a melaphyr in a tiny, old quarry, now completely filled in.
Located 1 km SE of Walhausen and about 10 km NNW of St. Wendel.
