Hours: Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission: Adults: $6/day, Seniors (65+) & Juniors (13-17): $4/per day, Children under 13 free with adult. Free parking 300 vendors and exhibit displays. Sale of minerals, fossils, meteorites, gems, beads, jewelry and gift items, books, lapidary equipment, and more. Crafters and scientists demonstrated gem cutting, jewelry making, and fossil preparation. Displays with some of the world’s finest museum collections, and experts spoke on topics of geological and paleontological interest. Denver-area students came to the show on field trips on Friday morning. Free gold panning for children and free gem and mineral identification throughout the weekend. Mr. Bones, a walking dinosaur, delighted children of all ages. |
