| Abstract/Notes | A new fossil locality in the Waweig Formation of southwest New Brunswick is described. The assemblage contains elements typical of the Salopina community, and consequently, the new locality indicates that the formation developed in a generally quiet, shallow, nearshore shelf or low intertidal environment that was subject to periodic storm influxes. The age of the Waweig Formation is suggested to be uppermost Ludlow – Pridoli (?Pridoli). |
