| Abstract/Notes | Parahippus sp., Hypohippus equinus, and Camelidae, gen. et sp. indet. have been collected from the Cypress Hills Formation in Saskatchewan, near the top of the section. The combination of taxa indicates a Hemingfordian (Middle Miocene) age for some deposits. I suggest a limited amount of Middle Miocene deposition before the uplift of the Cypress Hills Plateau. |
