| Abstract/Notes | This paper is devoted to the formational analysis of iron ore deposits in the Telbes ore belt. General patterns of deposit distribution in space and time, as well as lithological-stratigraphic and magmatic controls on mineralization, are revealed. The polygeneity of iron mineralization is demonstrated for the first time, substantiating the conclusion that the iron ore deposits in the ore belt are of varying ages. General theoretical issues are discussed. Original models of ore formation for iron ore deposits of magnesian-skarn and volcanogenic-sedimentary formations are proposed. The book is intended for geologists from research and production organizations, postgraduate students and students of geological universities. | ||
