| Abstract/Notes | The paper highlights the issues of geology of mineral deposits in Central Asia and some patterns of their location. The influence on the placement of ores of various geological formations and the position of ore fields in some tectonic zones is shown. Much attention is paid to the characterization of the conditions for the localization of endogenous mineralization in ore regions, fields and deposits, and to the factors of the location of ore bodies. The structural-morphological types of ore bodies of some polymetallic, gold-ore and antimony-mercury deposits are described. The leading role of structural, tectonic and lithological factors in the distribution of mineralization in ore fields of various types is revealed.A significant part of the work is devoted to the consideration of the material and mineral composition of ores of polymetallic, gold ore, rare metal and some non-metallic deposits, their geochemical features and zonality of mineralization. Interesting results of experimental studies are presented, as a result of which various forms of mercury occurrence in the haloes of primary scattering of endogenous deposits were established, which significantly increases the prospecting and evaluation value of haloes. | ||
