Abstract/Notes | The articles of the collection are devoted to various issues of mineralogy, crystal chemistry and the genesis of minerals. They contain new data on both widespread minerals (agates, chalcedony, serpentine, aquamarine, clinolyroxenes) and rare minerals (diamond, bercellianite, radio barite). A number of articles are devoted to the stability of phase transformations in the group of pyrochlore, pitchblende, natural ion exchange during the formation of oxy compounds in the eudialyte group. Experience in diagnostics of nickel and cobalt minerals in transmitted light is proposed, data on the content of water and carbon dioxide in quartz, as well as a method for studying the orientation of inclusions in quartz and fluorite are presented. The features of the relationship between minerals of the structural types of pyrochlorine and columbite and the micromorphology of iridescent agates, chalcedony, and baikalite are highlighted. G.P.
