UM2005-07-O:AsHHgPdSbTe
Invalid as an unnamed mineral
This page is currently not sponsored. Click here to sponsor this page.
Formula:
~(Pd,Sb,Hg,As,Te,Fe)2O · nH2O
variable composition; likely non-homogenous
Due to the above considerations the status here is set as "probably invalid".
Co-described with chemically similar UM2005-06-O:AsHPdPtSbTe, UM2005-08-O:AsHHgPdSbTe, UM2005-09-O:AsHgPdSbTe, UM2005-10-O:AsPdSbTe, UM2005-11-O:AsPdSbTe, UM2005-12-O:AsPdSbTe, UM2005-13-O:BiHPdTe, UM2005-14-O:BiHPdTe, UM2005-34-Te:PdPt.
The oxide/hydrated phases are up to 100 μm in width, and ~1 mm in length. They either occur (1) along crystallographic planes, (2) on grain boundaries and fractures, and, more rarely, (3) intergrown with goethite. Depending on the impurities, they formed from mertieite-II, keithconnite or potarite.
