I don't think we need to worry much. This is a natural process that must have been repeated many times in Earth's history, at the end of every Ice Age. Its deleterious effects will be local.

Agree.
Just look at Rio Tinto in Spain. The name itself comes from the orange/red tinted water as a result of natural reaction with the sulphide rocks of the region.

In isolation this may be the case, but the problem with climate breakdown is that it is happening on a rate that is orders of magnitude faster than geological changes in the past (and after a long period of relative stasis in which humans have evolved).

 Could be. In the opposite direction, this has occurred already several times during earth´s history (sudden cooling = impact winter). Such a sudden warming - I don´t know.

Anyways - nor ore specimens from Red Dog Mine in mindat! They are out there!!

Dave, I suggest you listen to the one hour video on "A Climate Change.org"  for a non-political view of climate change by a geologist, etc.  Enlightening.
