This photo (a picture postcard, ca. 1970) is absolutely flabbergasting.  Günther Grundmann, who uploaded it, says only "that's what it says on the back of the card".  Other than the obvious grounds for incredulity, I have no specific reason to suspect that it's a hoax, but can anyone verify that the miners in this Swedish iron mine actually maintained a garden with flowers, tropical plants, and a fountain 410 m underground?  It seems unlikely that they (or the company) could spare the time and energy to do it, or that they would put that much effort and care into a place that sooner or later will be mined out and abandoned.  If anybody knows it, please tell the story behind this garden!
