Lost and Stolen SpecimensTucson 2019 - lost/stolen minerals

Hello everyone

I would like to ask you all collectors to help us with looking for lost (stolen) minerals. It happend this mineral show in Tucson 2019.

There were 2 boxes stolen when we were unpacking our shipment together with KARP company (on 29th of January between 10am and 11am on the Tucson City Center / Inn Suites Hotel parking near the ballrooms).

Unfortunately we didnt see anybody and we found out that two boxes with five excellent Aquamarines from Erongo are missing in room.

There was also a box with one Topaz matrix specimen from Pakistan (as you can see at the photos).

Even though we tried really hard we could not find them anywhere. So it is sure that our specimens are stolen.

Anyone who meets similar stones like these in the pictures, please contact me on the mail svadlenka@nerosty.cz .

Those are beautiful specimens. It's sad that in this day and age, people still have to resort to such heinous acts......

The sponsors of the exhibit should have some responsibility and have a theft prevention system. Attendees need to be screened and credentialed.

Frank, you don't understand how shows work. They are public locations with no possibility to control everyone who comes and goes. There are no 'attendees' to be screened in any such way.

Rather than blame people, which is not the point of this post, we are simply concerned about getting the word out to the community that these pieces are stolen. That's all.

Of course, I just feel as if we all have lost something very special. With a bit of luck, and hard work, and with your effort to spread the word, those minerals will be recovered.
