Rose Quartz from Zamibia. Unknown quarry or mine.

Some of these pieces have Tourmaline in the matrix.

This particular one had this ring shaped metallic-looking mineral.


No clue what it could be. Ideas?

Maybe a tiny zenolith of country rock that reacted with the residual core fluid and ended up as a little ball of mica? It appears to have a concentric structure (cross-section of a sphere?) consistent with something soaking and reacting. The spot to the left could be the outer surface of an adjacent sphere.
