From the GSA:


GSA is now accepting applications for fall/winter 2018-2019 positions in the National Park Service Geoscientists-In-the-Parks (GIP) program. There are 44 positions available in some amazing places, including Denali National Park and Preserve, Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and many more. Deadline: 15 June



GSA is accepting applications for one remaining summer GIP position: Hydrology Assistant at Grand Canyon National Park. Deadline: 18 May



GSA will continue to accept applications for summer GeoCorps positions that are still listed on the GeoCorps website. Applications will continue to be accepted until each position is filled.



The National Park Service is seeking applicants for a GS-5 Museum Technician (Geology) position this summer at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Candidates must apply online through USAJOBS.gov. Deadline: 3 May 2018



The GSA Geoscience Job Board lists student opportunities, fellowships, and general job openings year round.



The Stewards Individual Placement Program, which partners with NPS and GSA for the GIP program, has open positions in public lands through other programs, which are listed on their Open Positions page.



The Center for Jackson Hole is accepting applications for the 2018 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), which takes place in Jackson, Wyoming, 12-16 October, ahead of the Shaping How we Invest For Tomorrow (SHIFT) conference. ELP prepares a diverse group of outdoor recreationists to help engage in discussions critical to the protection of public lands. Deadline: 1 June
