The majority of crystals on the sample are Weeksite. The Carnotite are the small orange blocky crystals on the upper and lower left side of the photograph.

I agree with you that it is weeksite not carnotite but I can't see any carnotite crystals.

Hi Reiner:

The Carnotite crystals are on the matrix at the edges of the sample. My posted sample from here has both phases and looks similar to this one.

I have a similar specimen from the Anderson mine, the label notes both Weeksite and Carnotite, but most appear to be the same phase. The crystals on my specimen are all yellow, and appear to be monoclinic, I have them labeled as Carnotite, but I might be wrong, what do you think? Some of them are oddly curved in the third photo.

There are three photos: http://www.mindat.org/photo-783391.html

Hi Alex:

As far as I have seen Weeksite occurs as radiating blades and the single crystals from the Anderson Mine, such as yours, are Carnotite. It appears that the Carnotite-Weeksite co-existing samples have darker orange coloured Carnotite and the Carnotite without Weeksite is lighter yellow in colour. That observation is just from viewing photographs.
