Just try using "ichthyosaur" there shouldn't be that many hits. What David V.B. was saying is that you didn't use "skull" in your original post. You used "rostrum". Hence nothing showed up - skull hits would have been zero from that post and since you combined them it wouldn't show matches for just ichthyosaur.
In an unrelated issue to the skull, sorry for hijacking the thread, but I noticed that the search mechanism does not work well for threads that have been recently merged. When all the Scrapbook threads were merged to the General forum, items from those messages are not returned on searches. If it is my own post I can find them in my personal post history however not in a main search. Very frustrating if I am searching for something I didn't post.
regards,
stephanie :-)

I just tried it and got the same results as you did. I used rostrum and all threads, all dates. The thread in question is over a year old. And I am wondering if it was one of those merged threads that I was struggling with. What you can do in this case is what I do when I am looking for something I may have posted and the search does not return. Click on your name in any post message and then it will take you to a page with your user profile name and other links, one of them being "show all posts". Click on that and you can scroll through your own history there in date order. It is cumbersome and time consuming if you don't remember the date, but it will be there. I hope there is a better solution for searching the merged threads.

stephanie :-)

You will only have 123 posts to look thru, so it won't be too bad ;-)
