Techniques for Collectorsspray for mm box bruises
16th Jul 2012 15:59 UTCMaurizio Dini Expert
I do have many mm boxes bruised or striated, and I have heard that they can be "repaired" or improved using a special spray.
Where can I find and buy such product?
Any help or sugestions?
thanks so much

There is a product called 'Plexus' plastic cleaner, protectant and polish. I know it's available in the USA and Australia, but I don't know about its availability anywhere else. I would think it should be available in most places as it was originally developed for use on aircraft windows.
It’s made in the USA by;
B.T.I. Chemical Co.
638 Lindero Canyon Road, #371 Oak Park, CA 91677 USA.

thanks for your reply!
Does Plexus clean and repair bruises and scars on mm boxes? I explain you, I have thousands of mm transparen boxes with scars and bruises, and I am wondering if Plexus can improve or even remove such bruises from the surface? Do you know if this is the case?
let me know

It polishes and removes light scratches and bruises. Obviously there is a limit on how far it will go, but as yet I haven't had any trouble with using in on second hand boxes, I clean them up to put in my swap collection.
It works by filling in the microscopic pores within the plastics surface, making the surface smooth and thus clean and resilient to further scratches and bruises.
