Immediately south of the Gascoyne River and about 20 kilometres south-west of the better known Milgun variscite Mine. The deposit is about 175 kilometres north north-west of Meekatharra.
Variscite occurs in irregular patches in brecciated chert. It is hosted by the Jillawarra Formation of siltstone and shale with minor chert. There is a minor variscite occurrence nearby also, of up to 10mm thick cross-cutting veins in a dark grey mudstone overlying a dolerite sill.
