I was the first Life Member of the Franklin Ogdensburg Mineralogical Society in New Jersey, U.S.A.
N.B.:: I'm willing to entertain young children in the art of humor and Fluorescence and Phosphorescent Minerals at schools. Hopefully the school district and/or the teacher or will pay my travel and a very small stipend so that I may give out gifts of rocks and fluorescent minerals to our budding pebble puppies!
I only require a complete dark room (as dark as possible) with one outlet. Otherwise I can bring an extension cord or a battery pack. A large closet works great as it did when I worked at the Hooker Middle School in Goshen, New York.
Remember:: Children will be the future scientists. Our geologists, mineralogists, collectors, photographers and other important fields of endeavor!
