This locality is known for only a few species (mostly sulfides), but the iconic calcite specimens are a favorite among collectors. Here is a gorgeous and eye-catching piece from this famous mine featuring a pair of classic golden scalenohedral calcites with sharp faces and great form, growing at a diverging angle to create a pair of calcite "wings" flaring out of the host rock matrix. Minor associated galena and chalcopyrite make for a really nice touch. The largest calcite measures 7.0 cm.
