Formerly: Lac Nicolet mine (Quebec Antimony mine), Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens, (South Ham), Wolfe Co., Québec, Canada. Old labels and catalogs often give the locality as: South Ham, Range I, Lot 56, South Ham Township, Quebec.
An antimony mine started in the late 1860s on a small scale with two shafts and an adit. The operation was never economically viable and apart from sporadic exploratory work in the 1940s and 1960s did not go into production.
Coordinates confirmed by GPS at mine dump.
