A former surface and underground Au-Pb-Ag mine located near Tonopah.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with pod-like orebodies. Host rock is unnamed gneiss & schist.

Field observations: there are two areas of workings. The lower workings are comprised of a shallow vertical shaft (estimated 30 feet (ca. 9 m)) with several adits and holes hollowed out of the banks of the wash. The second area is on a nearby hill and has a deep vertical shaft, substantial shaft-sinking waste rock dumps and an outcrop of a mineralized vein. Near this latter area, until recently, were a complex of apparent water tanks, now demolished. Apparently the entire complex is considered the "Moon Anchor Mine."
