A large area around the village of Orpierre including a small mining district and some septaria occurring in Oxfordian marls.
"(Coming from Serres). West of Eyguians on the D30. In the area surrounding this locality, there are several old workings and deposits:
- Towards the hamlet of Le Jonchier, there are numerous dumps on the right side of the road with ankerite, bournonite, boulangerite, cerussite, covellite, galena, marcasite, stibnite, semseyite (lead antimony sulfide), pyrite, and zincite.
- Towards Billéric there is an old working with baryte, calcite, chalcopyrite, galena, pyrite, sphalerite, and zincite.
- On the D30 to Eyguians one crosses a road leading to the La Roche farm with calcite, siderite, and smithsonite.
- To the right of the D30 towards the Bagnol Ravine there is an old working with calcite, galena, and sphalerite.
- It is noteworthy that one can collect chalcedony and quartz in the marls in the area."

Semseyite is quite as common as boulangerite.
Semseyite can have four shapes :
- massive in ore veins;
- massive with typically crystallized faces here and there (with striated faces);
- tabular with striated faces (common shape, but rare in the veins) - see my photos;
- "cuneiform" shape (new shape a priori unknown elsewhere) (see my photos). This shape is more commun as the tabular shape, sometimes in big masses with very cut shapes or a multitude of little crystals (< 1mm) with also cut shapes.

All the analysis I made on yellow needles or yellow deposits have found Pb and Sb elements (this is the reason why I added the oxyplumboroméite in the list of the minerals, the new name of the bindheimite). So, I think that this mineral, if present, is not visible as a mineral species and is merged with oxyplumboroméite.
