Old lead mine located at about 1000 m a.s.l. on the left side of Vallone del Lausetto, upstream of its confluence with Vallone dell’Alpetto. Vallone del Lausetto is a right tributary valley of the main Gesso della Valletta valley, situated in front of the village of San Lorenzo.

The vein system of this deposit mainly consists of an assemblage of baryte, fluorite, cerussite, galena and other sulfides (including pyrite, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite) and is embedded in gneiss of the Argentera crystalline massif, near the contact with the Mesozoic carbonate succession.

NOTE: Located in the national park “Alpi Marittime”.
