A former small V-W-Pb-Cu occurrence/prospect/mine located in sec. 21, T11S, R8E.
Mineralization is an ore zone that strikes N85W and dips 55S, hosted in welded tuff. Alteration includes quartz-sericite-pyrite; propylitic.
Vanadinite-wulfenite observed with pyrite, galena, and sphalerite boxwork and gossan. Traces of copper oxide observed.
An appreciable amount of workings were observed in 2 or 3 adits; major fault floors activity - hanging wall mining. At least 200-300 feet of drift + adits. Activity appears to be of Korean War vintage (early 1950's) judging from the refuse. A gravity separator is still on site with screens.
