Geology: The Sugarloaf Peak quartz monzonite porphyry is the most volatile-rich and one of the latest phases of the Organ batholith.
Rock formation(s): Sugarloaf Peak Quartz Monzonite Porphyry; Fusselman Dolomite; Percha Shale.
Ore(s): Mineralization occurs along small anticlinal folds beneath a layer of impervious shale.
