Three E-W lodes with overgrown dumps on the valley side to the north of Sweethouse and mainly within Lanhydrock. Engine Shaft sunk to 110fms but output scanty: 130 tons copper ore and 2 tons black tin in 1823-24 and 1853-69.
The mine is famous for the occurrence of zoned siderite crystals with flat terminations, colloquially known as 'horse tooth' siderite. These specimens are believed to have come from a single large vugh sometime before 1819. A detailed article on the occurrence is given in Smith and Wilson (2020).

The reference to danalite at Wheal Maudlin is a Kingsbury (1961) citation. Given the doubts about the provenance of other Kingsbury specimens (Ryback et al. 1998, 2001), further confirmation is required.

Note:
Following an administrative reorganisation, the mine is now in Lostwithiel parish, and not in Lanlivery as it used to be for decades.
