Structure: Brecciation,
Alteration: Alunitization, Silicification, Pyritization
Deposit: Payshoot is curved. Smaller irregular shoots are erratically distributed throughout the ledge. Richest ore found in oxidized zone in silicified areas; little ore in argillized areas. Ore zone boundaries were gradational
Deposit type: Epithermal quartz-alunite Au
Development: First lease in the goldfield district was issued in jan. 1904 on the january claim; ore was struck soon and 310,000 net worth of ore had been shipped by the end of the year. In 1905, daily shipments of 85 tons were being produced. The mine was taken over in the big merger forming the goldfield consolidated mines co. In nov. 1906, having produced at least $1,000,000 worth of ore to that time.
