Sec 22 T31N R34E. One of the Bonanza silver mines of the district.
Structure: Pre-Minerafault Fissures, Fault Block

Deposit: Located in 1861. The property includes the star peak, star peak no. 2, star peak no. 3, silver reef, woolcott, hydenfeldt, desoto, tunnel, treasure, and rocky cliff claims, all patented in 1904. Developed by two adits, 600 and 900 feet long. The desoto and sheba mines are on the same zone of mineralization. ; info.src : 1 pub lit this mine is on the same mineralized zone As the sheba. The ore feeder was a narrow fissure vein striking north and dipping steeply west in the rhyolite body. The vein broke into numerous veinlets along bedding planes and fracture cleavages in the overlying tuffaceous sandstones (basal unit of prida formation), which is overlain by an impervious thin shaly limestone that formed the hanging wall in the deposit and trapped the mineralizing solutions. The vein is up to 48 inches wide. The veins fill premineral fault fissures of small displacement in the rhyolite intrusive and lower member of prida formation.; model name could also be: polymetallic veins.

Deposit type: Low-sulfide Au-quartz vein
