Zn-Pb-Fe stratiform deposit in Ordovician schists, slates, quartzites and limestones, affected by Hercynian low grade regional metamorphism and tectonics. The abandoned galleries and buildings are found in the Unhola river valley, in the track to Liat mines, 8 km north of the village of Bagergue, and 10 km from Salardú.
