A Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag-Au occurrence/mine located in the SE¼ sec. 6, T3S, R3W, NMM, , on private land. The property is comprised of 5 claims covering 73.9 acres. Owned & operated by J. D. Torres, Magdalena, New Mexico (1959). Last operated in 1957.
Mineralization is hosted in the Mississippian Kelly Limestone of the Magdelena group. The ore body forms pods and shoots. Controls for ore emplacement included mineralized solutions that rose along faults and replaced favorable host rock. Local rocks include Pennsylvanian rocks, undivided.
Local geologic structures include the southern end of the NE-striking Stonewall Fault.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 609.6 meters. Workings reported in 1942 consisted of the Mistletoe tunnel, about 1,300 feet long, a 500 foot tunnel, several short tunnels, and several stopes, raises and winzes.
