A small gold deposit.

"Knight et al. (1919) described pitted quartz-calcite veinlets with associated pyrite and arsenopyrite mineralization in the north part of lot 2, concession VI, Carr Township. The veinlets were described to be hosted by "carbonate". A sample taken by these workers assayed 0. 116 ounce of gold per ton. This occurrence was later to be known as the Carlo [after the mining syndicate name]."
