A silver mine on the great McCracken lode. One of the leading mines in the district. Owned by the McCracken Consolidated Mining Co.
Mineralization is the great McCracken lode, a 6 to 37 foot wide vein. Also stated as containing "sulfides of silver."
Workings include a 367 foot deep shaft at the Altas Mine line (1881) plus five adit levels.
