The northern most of the 'large' Menheniot lead mines.
The mine was worked between 1852 and 1872 but never achieved the riches of the southern mines Wheal Mary Ann and Wheal Trelawney.
Some dumps remain on the site of the mine, although all are on private land and not accessible for collecting.
