Köppen climate type:
Two styles of mineralization occur in the deposit. The first constitutes the main Cu–Ni–Co–Pt–Pd mineralization and consists of massive to semi-massive sulfides that occur as laterally discontinuous and irregular pods and lenses toward the base of the host metagabbro.
The second type of mineralization is represented by a low-sulfide style that comprises millimeter- to centimeter thick vein, disseminated, interstitial, and varitextured sulfides hosted by the metagabbro (Campos-Alvarez et al., 2012).
