Basanite dikes hosting mantle xenoliths. Situated ca. 40km (25 mi) SW of Muscat city.
The largest intrusion is an irregular dike extending over ca. 50m (164ft) but the dimensions of other nearby intrusions are obscured by a lack of outcrop.
The dikes cut Paleocene and Maastrichtian sedimentary rocks.

Age: Post-Paleocene.
