Pb-Zn mine working on Pb-Zn mineralisations with skarn deposits that replaced the limestone layer of the Jeongkansan Formation by intrusion of a biotite granite in the late Cretaceous.

The Gukjeon deposits are divided into the Jukgang ore bodies once mined underground and the eastern ore bodies.
