A Ag-Pb-Au occurrence/mine located in sec. 5, T13S, R36E, MDM, 4.5 km (2.8 miles) NE of Kearsarge, just E of Mazourka Canyon, on Bureau of Land Management wilderness land (Paiute Wilderness Study Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone. The ore body is lenticular, strikes N and dips 45W, at a thickness of 1.22 meters, and is comprised of irregular lenses nea rthe granite contact. The limestone is thin-bedded carboniferous. Associated rocks include granite. Local rocks include Cambrian marine rocks.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 624.84 meters, and comprised of a 50 foot shaft and about 2,000 feet of adits.

A shipment in 1923 from Republic showed smelter recovery of 0.06 ounce Au/ton, 6.62 ounces Ag/ton. Ore shipped in 1925 & 1929 contained 14 ounces Ag/ton and 26.8% Pb.
