At Big Blow South gold is associated with quartz veining in and along a porphyry margin on contact with the Big Blow Chert rock unit. The porphyry is steep dipping, capped by Hanging Wall chert, with grades plunging south in a series of parallel shoots. The Big Blow Chert is a stratigraphic marker horizon within the Bardoc Tectonic Zone, and traceable for 25 kilometres.
Indicated and Inferred Jorc resources remaining is 325 400 tonnes of ore at 2.64 g/t yielding 27 600 ounces of gold.
The location is about 4 kilometres south of Bardoc and 600 metres south-east of the Parkerville mine. The area has numerous historic workings.
