Colinton South Prospect
Three small deposits in the Colinton-Bredbo area occur in limestone within a sequence of acid volcanics and sediments. All these deposits have sulphide mineralization occuring in veins, in vughs, and as disseminations within a silicified limestone host.
At the Colinton silver mine there are extensive underground workings developed in limestone. The mineraliztion cosists mainly of pyrite, galena, and minor chalcopyrite in a quartz gangue.
