Lískovec, Frýdek-Místek
Lískovec (German Leskowetz) is a former municipality, since 1 January 1979 one of the parts of the statutory town of Frýdek-Místek. Almost the entire cadastre of Lískovec, including the entire development, is located in Silesia, but small parts of the cadastre by the river Ostravice extend into Moravia.
Sediments in the Ostravice river rooted in the Beskydy mountains and flowing into the Odra river are amply filled with limestone concretions created from Jurassic limestone. Sr, Ba mineralization in crevices in limestones.
