The Badger Mine was worked between 1887 and 1892 by two shafts. Some buildings were built at the mine, and a mill was installed at Silver Creek about 400 m east of the shafts. The mill treated ore from the Porcupine and Badger mines. The combined production amounted to 400,000 oz. of silver.
