MRDS database Dep. ID file #10039895, MRDS ID #M051069.

A former small surface and underground Cu-Mo-Zn-Pb mine located in secs. 28 (and posibly 32 & 33), T11S, R8E, 1 mile NW of the Silver Bell Mine. (Arizona File Listed Sec 28, Molybdenum File Listed Secs 32 & 33). Owned by Minerals Exploration (Union Oil) and ASARCO.

Mineralization is with an irregular oval ore body elongate NW, hosted in Dacite. Approximately 1 square mile of surface outcrop of low grade copper ore, mostly of chalcocite enrichment on pyrite with some oxide and molybdenite showings. Hematite in gossan (rather than jarosite or goethite) indicates the presence of a chalcocite blanket. Alteration includes potassic, phyllic, propylitic, and variable silicification. An associated rock unit is diorite.

Local structures include abundant close fractures.

Workings include miscellaneous minor pits and shafts. Production unknown, possibly none.
