A Cu-Au-Pb-Ag occurrence located in T10S, R37E, MDM, in the vicinity of Jackass Flats and Marble Canyon.
NOTE: The MRDS file presents geographic coordinates of 37.07914N, 118.92125W, and geographic context data placing this locality in Fresno County, it also presents a T&R value plus a MAS-MILS file number in the Inyo County sequence. Murdoch & Webb, citing Blake (1867b), places it in Inyo County. Adjusting the longitude to 117.92125W, brings the locality into Inyo County, consistent with the stated location T&R values in the MRDS file of T10S, R37E, MDM. Due to the error in MRDS, the accuracy of the remaining data presented in the MRDS file, but omitted here, can not be determined to apply to the correct location, or the erroneous one.
