At the foot of the hill Schletzenburg, famous for its pyromorphite, is located the medieval Donnerloch mine.
These ancient works are "opened works" and archaeological studies are in progress since 2006. These works were probably enlargerd in the XVIth century with adits and shafts to work under the water level.
