4.4 x 4.3 x 3.5 cm. A fantastic rabbit ears pair of sharp, striated, beautifully iridescent chalcopyrite sphenoids highlights this super miniature accented with a 1.0 cm sphalerite crystal and a forest of quartz points. The blocky matrix consists of pyrite, quartz and sulfides. The superlative large chalcopyrite is 1.5 cm. An outstanding 360-degree combination specimen from this old Zn-Pb-Cu-Ag skarn deposit and probably dates to the 1950s or 1960s. Choice material from the Chris Cowan Collection.
